From The Artist...
"There are only two worthwhile things to leave behind when you depart this world of ours - children and art!" - Sunday In The Park With George
I've been fortunate to have been blessed with both a beautiful daughter and a talent for music and art. Primarily a song-writer at heart, I found that music couldn't fully contain my love of creativity. And like many a musician before me, I started to express myself through the visual arts, starting with my very first posted image in 1997. I've painted through deep loss and great joy-Abstracts have allowed me the best way to communicate this story to tell in the colors and textures I choose.
As for my artistic approach: If the artist is a traveler on a plane, my artwork is the pilot. I may start the journey, but there is something else that moves and guides me to the final destination. This is the fun aspect of art, the pure rush from being taken over and seeing what has been creative with the last stroke of the "digital" brush.
Born and still living in San Jose, California, I continue to paint along the way as I continue to guide my now adult daughter into her next adventure, nurture a budding new business, and embrace as much self-improvement as I can handle.
