Artist Note - "Life is messy and unpredictable. When we enter this world, we are as we are, and then life happens and thing are altered, molded, some for the good, some for the bad. Pieces of our lives are all too often locked away: The BAD pieces for our survival, the GOOD pieces, casualty of war. They all remain buried throughout adulthood until we actively go searching for these lost puzzle pieces that affect what we do, how we react, and how we love. Like the balloon depicted here, it is my desire each day to continue to soar up and away, and as I do, find these jigsaw pieces of my life and mesh them together so that I'll find myself with heart aloft, high above the fray, healed and whole."
