Description
Addition to the Industrial/Urban collection.
- The word "trifecta", while its origin comes from horse race gambling, has found its way into the modern day lexicon meaning simply a pattern or quantity of three. The title itself was meant to reflect the "The Rule of Three" which states that "3" is the smallest number by which you can create a pattern. Visually, this pattern is the most pleasing. The rule is used in design, creative writing, politics, religion, even computing. I am reminded by a very famous bible scripture: "And these THREE remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is Love." The rule here is of the upmost importance during these difficult times because we need all 3, especially love.
"Trifecta" is very much industrial in nature, but softer than most Industrial paintings I've done in the past. The intersecting lines are there to establish the pattern, the colors of red and orange to reflect love and passion, while the hints of green are meant to reflect new hope. The harsh lines and patterns added to reflect the steadfastness of faith.
