Artist's Description
Abstract created from an image of Death Valley by L A Feldstein - used by permission 2022.
The Passage
Stretched beyond
the telling of it, unending
passages await with winding tongue
urging.
Planted feet fail, succumbing
to the future all men face:
Change
Artist Note - "This came about as a challenge to create something out of an image of Death Valley by L A Feldstein. It went through several version until I came upon the more darker version you see here. In the end, the notion of the dark passage in life we all face - and the final one all men take - but as a Christian, I believe I do not take these passages alone. Light and Dark, the path down the middle is one I take with the one who sees the end."
About Ken Walker
"There are only two worthwhile things to leave behind when you depart this world of ours - children and art!" - Sunday In The Park With George I've been fortunate to have been blessed with both a beautiful daughter and a talent for music and art. Welcome! They say that a good biography is in the 3rd person - I prefer to be more personal. If you've taken the time to read this, then you deserve something more, something more personal and heartfelt to get to know me as an artist and as a person. To understand the art, it is good to understand the journey the artist takes: The joys and scars along the way. Take a moment to experience my work, and you'll notice a common thread: Hope and Healing. Communicating all I've learned in...

An exquisite 'devotional', Ken, so amazing your response/creation from the sharedd Death Valley image from L A Feldstein. And, The Passage: your prose: your conclusion: CHANGE !, the future all men face....so very insightful, supportive of the Artwork. Light and Dark ! (as with Heloise, too), the choices. Always the outcome you say: CHANGE ! for the GOOD. !....kudos, fav..........VIVA
