Artist's Description
Inspired in part by the movie "Prometheus" which credits its inspiration from the Greek Titan Prometheus, the creator of man and giver of fire (Prometheus was punished by Zues for this to be tortured for eternity). I wanted to suggest the downfall of Prometheus (and also the aliens in the movie) with the sense of movement downwards. Thorny cave-like structures suggest the tangled motives behind Prometheus' actions while also pointing back to the movie's look.
