"Like spending the whole day preparing many ingredients for the Thanksgiving meal, the many different parts of the family and loved ones all coming together, and not always in unity, to celebrate a day of thanks, here I spent several days creating well over 100 different layers to bring this piece to life. As I was near the end, choosing what stays and what goes, it was clear that I was living one of the most encouraging truths I am learning more each day: Nothing Is Wasted. I realize that there are truly horrible events that people have endured that would bring cause to argue this point, but the focus shouldn't be on what has already happened, but rather what do we do once with these experiences? We have the power over our choice in response to the trials...

Not only an excellent creation, but a message in your Description, as well. There is no point in wishing something in your past hadn't happened as without it you wouldn't be who you are today. All of the layers, even though they get painted over or altered, all contribute to the final piece.
