Artist Note - "As I get deeper into the Special Edition (POP ART) series, I'm finding myself pulling from notable women (real or imagined in popular culture) who I have admired. When it comes to Ann-Margret, I fell for her the first time I saw her when "Bye Bye Birdie" She stood out amongst other actresses of her day - a powerhouse of a voice along with dancing skills - all wrapped up in innocence and raw sexuality in a way that said she was in charge of herself. To this day, she has remained a formidable woman in entertainment. I have not forgotten her. Interestingly, I hadn't thought to include her signature, but found a post card on ebay she had signed for someone named "Kenneth" and thought how awesome that would have been if she had done one for me.
