Artist Note - "As I get deeper into the Special Edition series, I'm finding myself pulling from women (real or imagined in popular culture) who have a special place in my heart. As a long time fan of the science fiction show FARSCAPE, I always wanted to create some artwork from the show, and although the character of Chiana is very art worthy, it is the wonderfully kind actress who played her on the show, Gigi Edgley that she find herself a part of this special series. For years me and my daughter have named our cars after characters from shows we are fans of. My daughter named our Silver Ford Escape after Chiana who is a grey and silver alien on the show. A few years, I had the awesome opportunity to meet via skype (she was in Australia at the time) and talk with her, including being a small part in her video show. It was truly a magical moment for me."
