Artist's Description
Inspired by the Otis Redding song of the same name and the 1st in the collection "Abstract and the Written Word" a series of stories and poems inspired by the artwork.
-"Sal sat quietly on the dock, enjoying the symphony of sounds emanating from the little harbor in town. There wasn't much to do these days at night. Even in a small town like Invisible, Maine, things were on lock-down, so he found himself sitting here listening to the water brush up against the dock's pilings as seagulls fought over the last morsel of bread. He'd bring more tomorrow. While he missed the daily conversations over a good pint, he had to admit his new routine here on the dock was more enjoyable that he would have imagined. Just last week, he would have been sitting at the Wasted Bull, spending much of his time there in petty arguments about anything and everything, as someone always had an opinion about something of no importance whatsoever.
