ferocity of heart and soul fuels the rage of change.
Refiner’s fire,
forges a formless void in the heat
of truth and light, the path between
old and new. Renewed. Reborn.
Artist Note - "Perhaps somewhat esoteric, at the heart of this painting and accompanying poem is the search for the spark that leads to change - that moment when someone transitions from darkness into the light of truth. I believe there is a violent merging of the heart's longings and soul's passion to be whole that so often comes from the refining fire of pain. Through this experience comes a life renewed and reborn - truth revealed as the unwanted burns away, allowing the artist to forge true and lasting strength of character."
