Artist's Description
A simple message of our time.
"Took a long walk today to find some peace and healing for my troubled soul and then saw a simple message on the street meant to protect and save lives, "STOP!" It struck me that that was what I needed to do. Slow down. Stop the madness taking over me - sometimes so subtle. Little worries and thoughts that do not deserve the precious time on this earth. So normal, I say to myself, but so destructive. This is what I call madness. Doing the same thing expecting different results. I must fight it ever day and affirm something greater than myself.
Yes, this is true for the greater world at large right now, whatever your beliefs, but nothing is more personal than living with the struggles in the moment. The message becomes vital to our good: "Stop and smell the roses. Stop and be in the moment! Stop the madness for sure then Stop and love!"
About Ken Walker
"There are only two worthwhile things to leave behind when you depart this world of ours - children and art!" - Sunday In The Park With George I've been fortunate to have been blessed with both a beautiful daughter and a talent for music and art. Welcome! They say that a good biography is in the 3rd person - I prefer to be more personal. If you've taken the time to read this, then you deserve something more, something more personal and heartfelt to get to know me as an artist and as a person. To understand the art, it is good to understand the journey the artist takes: The joys and scars along the way. Take a moment to experience my work, and you'll notice a common thread: Hope and Healing. Communicating all I've learned in...
