Modern abstract geometric shapes fragmented influenced by the "Matrix" movie franchise.
Artist Note - "Went to see the new Matrix movie (12-25-21), came home and was inspired to create this image. One of the things that resonated for me in the movie was the concept of repressed memories and how we deal with them. [SPOILERS] In the movie, Neo and Trinity have been brought back to life, but have had their memories reset (suppressed) by the movies main antagonist. On a subconscious level, NEO is able to create the very means of his eventual rescue. Before that, he is seen taking the "blue pill" which has been synonymous for repression and denial - believing in the fantasy - the unreal. BUT this isn't enough for him, and he longs to have the truth revealed. Eventually he takes the "red pill" and starts the journey to realizing who is. Much like NEO, I am keenly aware of the existence of repressed memories from my childhood, whilst not having the details of that they are. I d...
