Promenade in Red metal print by Ken Walker.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description

4th in the collection "Abstract and the Written Word" a series of stories and poems inspired by the artwork.

-Chapter One: The fog was especially thick this morning along Brooklyn’s busy Promenade with an almost blood-like hue, something not lost on Talyn. Shades of crimson condensation pooled around his feet as dawn’s light pierced through the haze with menacing intention ever slowly creeping to touch his flesh. This he could not allow. Yet there were times that the memory of what he’d allowed himself to become threatened to overtake his self-preservation. Just two steps forward, embrace the light that now firmly settled on the park’s benches and walkways ahead of him, and his pain would cease.

“In the countless centuries, I’ve never met anyone with such capacity for self-loathing as you, my young squire,” the voice drifted from the shadows. It was a voice both comforting and foreboding to Talyn as what followed was the inevitable request to join...
