Mons Veritatis metal print by Ken Walker. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
Third in a series of abstracts inspired by the world of "Avatar". Mons Veritatis ("Mountain of Truth") is depicted in the movie as the home of the "Ikran" (mountain banshee), dragon-like creatures the Na'vi warriors bond with. The Na'vi are able to neurally bond with the creatures of Pandora. In the case of the Ikran, the Ikran will bond with only one Na'vi for life."
- "I love the unity of the people of this world, especially now in these troubled times. With the concept of long-term commitment of any kind becoming less practiced, I found it comforting that the Ikran bond for life with only one Na'vi, much the same way the Na'vi will bond with only one mate."
